Run a Book Drive

What if you could change the world with a book? What if you could improve lives with a used text book? Would you?

ProjectEDUCATE Drives are run in partnership with our educational partners at Books For Africa and Better World Books. Every semester we run drives on college campus. We collect used text books that would otherwise end up in a land fill or recycled and place them in the hands of people who need them all over the African continent. The drives are run in partnership with Better World Books and Books for Africa.

This is a great way for students and students groups to support our work. Professors and Store managers can also support our drives.

  • Colleges
  • Every semester college students collect used textbooks
  • Bookstores
  • We partner with book store and collect books they do not buy back from students.
  • High School
  • High school students can run drives by collecting advanced placement textbooks for ProjectEDUCATE

Every year, millions of books are recycled or end up in landfills. Book drives enable to collect the books and place them in the hands of people who need them. The social impact is unprecedented supporting literacy programs for millions and thus improving quality of life. Millions of books are saved from polluting our environment.

The Process is easy and we provide all the necessary materials. The group that collects the most books earns the title of books drive champion.

If you are a student or student group interested in supporting our work by running a drive send us an e-mail at drives@project-educate.org

Thank you to everybody who continues to support us by running drives. If you are considering running a drive, we look forward to hearing from you and encourage you to send us an e-mail and explore the possibilities. It is a rewarding experience.

Don't just wait on the world to change, BE THE CHANGE, LEAD THE DRIVE!
